Water Softeners SOFT Series

APPLICATION:
Potable water treatment, Food & Beverage, Wastewater treatment, Industrial processes.
USAGE:
The water softening is the process of removing calcium and magnesium salts through the process of ion exchange. The softeners protect piping and hot water systems from salt deposits. The standard systems are supplied complete and ready for use.
OPERATION:
Water softeners can remove metal particles and contaminants from the water, acting as a sponge, where the particles are pulled from the minerals and leave a concentration of soft clean water. The water comes in from the main supply line, it passes through the first tank which contains resin (ionic beans). The resin takes all the hard minerals and then the water is ready for supply. This system requires two tanks. The second tank contains salt which is used for the backwash of the resin. This tank has also water to create a salt brine. Every few days (or hours, depending on the usage and requirements) the salt brine is flushed into the resin tank to clean and wash away the hardness ions. This process is called regeneration of the resin.
MAINTENANCE:
The maintenance is very simple. The addition of extra salt is required and the correct operation of the system is guaranteed.
