USAGE:

In cases that the requested flow is larger than the capacity of a single X series tank, there is a capability of a parallel or in series pattern of X series filters. Its battery system consists of X series tanks, collectors, 3-way valves, hydraulic equipment and an automation programmer.

OPERATION:

The water is filtered as it passes through a uniform porous media (i.e., granulated silica sand) from top to bottom. Particulate matter is entrapped between the pores of the media where is flushed out by reversing the flow. Backwash flow fluidizes the media and removes the accumulated particles. The operation of this system sand media battery takes place only automatically (AC/DC). Its filter is cleaned individually with clean water from the exit collector. The cleaning process takes place with a differential pressure or on chosen temporal periods.
