USAGE:

Filters of this series could be used for the removal of suspended solids (slit, sand, dirt) from the water. Bag filters have low investment costs and are generally tolerant of a wide range of applications. Users can choose from a complete line of single and multi-bag filter housings designed to meet the needs of the most demanding applications. The choice of single bag filter housings ranges from those suitable for exacting absolute filtration applications to high quality housings designed especially for cost sensitive applications.

INSTALLATION:

Bag filters are placed in the bag filter housing inside the pressure vessel. Some bags have a micron rating small enough to filter out a large variety of particles. Regarding the flow of the water, the inlet lies above the outlet. The outlet is usually at the bottom. The inlet allows the liquid to flow into the filter bag so that the direction of flow is from the inside to the outside.

OPERATION:

The water enters the inlet, passes through the circulation plate in the cartridge, is filtered, and exits from the outlet. The circulation plate generates a spiraling motion in the flow of the water on the surface of the screen, carrying away the suspended solids before are deposited and lead them to the collection chamber. The collection chamber is located in the filter lid where they are removed by opening the drain valve. It is also possible to use automation for the opening of the drain valve when the differential pressure (DP) exceeds a predetermined unit. On models bearing rotary brush, it is possible to increase the operating time of the filter, by using the brush periodically.

MAINTENANCE:

Bags from bag filters are cleaned manually.
